Digital Product Owner

Camping World is currently hiring a Digital Product Owner who can work in a fast-moving, unstructured environment across multiple businesses in different industries. The position requires the ability to manage a workflow across multiple teams scattered across the country. The Digital Product Owner provides support across the entire enterprise in strategic decision making, ensuring projects are completed on time and have the appropriate resources. The position will work together with lead developers, content and SEO specialists, and UI/UX team members in order to provide overall direction of the digital products the team supports.

This position represents the opportunity to gain significant ownership and autonomy supporting businesses that generate billions in revenue across the nation. Your focus will be supporting the project team across the Good Sam and RV Sales business units. Responsibilities:

Plan, document, and execute digital development projects to ensure all business/operational goals are metOversee project launches, manage stakeholder expectations, and produce regular reporting on project healthProvide direction to the development and UI/UX teams throughout the project and ensure that requirements are met before any major production pushAid in the UI/UX process to determine future iterations of the digital products and ensure that business approvals for new designs have been receivedAid in the development of product vision, road map, and growth opportunitiesAid in the development of new digital products to support, including but not limited to, working with vendors, ensuring scope is established, and resources are allocated properlyWork with team members to ensure backlog is managed, projects are scoped fully, and user stories are elaborated uponCreate product release planning and ensure that the information is communicated down to the relevant teamsCollaborate with the analytics team to determine strategic changes to UI/UX for our digital propertiesDevelop business plans for expansion of digital properties to support all business lines

Requirements:

3-5 years' experience managing business projects and developing product roadmaps.Must have experience with Agile methodology and/or a background in IT, knowledge of Leverage DevOps and Scaled Agile a strong plus.Must be comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders and external vendors.Must have a LEAN mindset with knowledge or experience with other frameworks such as CMMI, ITIL, ISO, Lean Six Sigma highly preferred.Must have solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts.Must have exemplary collaboration, communication, documentation, and presentation skills.Must be highly organized, able to understand "the big picture," think strategically, and work independently.Must be result oriented with a hunger for learning applying new technologies, processes and concepts.Preference to candidates with experience working in Jira, Confluence, Planview, SharePoint and creation of Process flows in Visio, Business and Technical Roadmaps, or similar software.Understanding of the retail space, specifically outdoor and recreational retail a plus.PMP or other project management certification a plus.Travel may be required -- 25% or more for extended time periods according to project needs and locations of key project resources.


** This opportunity is hybrid out of our Lincolnshire, IL offices. It can be remote based with some required travel as needed.**

Pay Range:

$89,565.00-$134,295.00 Annual
