Job Description

MillerKnoll is seeking a skilled In-House High-End Product Image Retouching and Texture Wrapping Specialist to join our Creative Studio's production team within Technology Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw studio images into highly polished, professional-quality visuals that align with our brand's aesthetic and image standards. You will collaborate closely with the Creative Studio's Asset Management, Content Production, and Merchandising teams to ensure all images adhere to our brand guidelines and maintain the high standards that resonate with our target audience.


Responsibilities

Retouch raw silo photography for use online across all retail sites.Utilize Adobe Photoshop for retouching and compositing product images, employing techniques such as masking, layering, and adjustments.Adjust color tones, balance brightness/contrast, and correct hues to align with brand standards, ensuring consistency across all product images.Remove imperfections such as dust, scratches, fingerprints, and reflections while maintaining a realistic look.Enhance or create realistic lighting and shadows to give products a three-dimensional, visually appealing appearance.Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of texture wrapping and color adjustments.Resize and optimize images for various platforms (web, print, etc.) without compromising image quality or resolution.Create composite images from multiple sources to produce cohesive visuals.Understand technical terms and effectively interpret feedback from clients, photographers, or art directors to implement requested adjustments.Create composite images from multiple image sources.Perform basic color correction for environmental images as needed.Color correct and retouch vendor imagery to match brand standards.Perform thorough self-review of all retouched images before submission to ensure accuracy and quality, minimizing the likelihood of errors before finalizing the images.Ensure consistency in image quality and color accuracy across all products, maintaining alignment with brand guidelines and visual standards.Collaborate with the creative and merchandising teams to understand project requirements and deliver images that meet marketing and design objectives.Provide additional support by performing tasks as needed to meet business objectives and project deadlines.Undergo cross-functional training to develop expertise in multiple areas, enabling flexibility to share workloads based on project priorities, volume, and team capacity.

Skills & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Multimedia, visual communication, or equivalent in related fields such as Mechanical or Civil Engineering, with 5 or more years of experience in Image retouching, product retouching, compositing.Proven experience as a photo/product re-toucher or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Lightroom, Knowledge of 3D rendering software and CGI integration is a plus.Should be detail oriented and possess analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to troubleshoot technical and functional problems with intuitive problem-solving techniques.Highly self-motivated and organized to achieve the monthly product release cycles.Good communication skills verbal and written (English).Strong team collaboration skills to work efficiently across departments and with remote teams.Should be willing to be flexible in terms of working shifts (12.00 pm to 9.00pm IST)
