Role IntroductionTo ensure the airline’s direct digital channels have a competitive presence in the market, maximising online traffic and revenue generation.
To manage the website(s), updating content to be locally suitable, drive local campaigns and conduct analytics to further optimise results.
Key ResponsibilitiesWebsite Content and Communication
Manage the retailing of air and non-air offers across the web and mobile platforms, driving channel exclusive offers where appropriateHelp to uphold the quality of content published across the Cathay Pacific digital channels, including brand, tone of voice, grammar and imageryMaster the content management system (Adobe Experience Manager) and support the publishing of quality content with good speed to marketHelp to ensure the customer experience and brand are upheld in any content and customer experience deliverables, in consultation with internal and external stakeholdersCoordinate with Head office and out ports for any activity on the Digital channelCoordinate with the Lifestyle & Marketing department for managing offers, webpages, products and newsletter creation like Shortlist.
Digital Promotions and Campaigns
Work closely with the Digital Sales Operation Manager, Lifestyle Business Development, and Marketing Teams to execute and drive campaignsBuild landing page for campaigns, including banner set up, web optimization, and web experienceSupport local sales initiatives, particularly tactical sales with compelling marketing content in the form of offer landing pages as appropriate
Database Management
Manage email marketing platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), including database management and campaign execution.Develop and maintain email marketing templates, including copy, images and multimedia.Plan and execute regular email marketing including incorporating and adapting Head Office and local communication messagesAnalyse email marketing campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Analytics
Use web analytics (Adobe Analytics) to measure performance, identify and exploit opportunities, and continually improve the volume and quality of traffic coming from different sourcesSystematic analytics and reporting on website specific data to provide recommendations for enhancements
Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimisation
Help to ensure all pages have the appropriate page level technical and content based Search Engine OptimisationConsult on regional performance of SEO (for always-on marketing)
Benchmarking
Help conduct competitor analysis of web experience and ensure digital channel experience is competitiveActively share learning and best practice with other local team and leverage work done by other Outports when fit for purposeMonitor marketing strategies used by competitors and industry leaders
Retailing Tools and Platforms
Provide support to brief and lobby Digital Retail counterparts in Hong Kong for enhancements of current functionality or future developments of the toolset, including (but not limited to) payment options, tactical and campaign tools, content and marketing asset provision, translation training
E&A
Emergency and Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as required
RequirementsAcademic Qualifications
Tertiary education qualificationKnowledge, Skills, Training and Experience
Two years’ experience in a similar role is preferableA solid understanding of how the internet works, preferably with a junior developer or similar IT training/experienceExperience of working in a similar digital or e-commerce roleA demonstrable passion for digital and commerceStrong literacy skills, including copywriting and the ability to adhere to brand and tone of voiceStrong numeracy skills and experience of working with data to tell a storyFamiliarity with digital tools including Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.Adapts to and embraces constant changeBenefitshttps://careers.cathaypacific.com/who-we-are/why-work-here
