Digital Solutions Sales Specialist is responsible for OEM’s, Panel Builders, Consultants, End Users and EPC’s, focused on the sales of Digital Solutions The role will represent ABB’s Electrification Products including Relays, Automation Systems and solutions.

Your responsibilities

Responsible for achieving the sales budget of the Digital Solutions and the collation, submission and accuracy of forecasts.Formulate business strategies in association with the UK Sales Manager and Product Market managers for the business portfolio. Gaining Enquiries to key opportunities through engaging OEM’s, End Users, EPC’s and Consultants. Following Enquiries through the sales cycle to order placement.Maintain CRM System with weekly updatesFactory Liaison for commercial and technical support, and production of customer offers and solutionsEnsure opportunity coordination across the sales team including other SS’s and Account Managers to ensure all the opportunity bases are covered leading to successful opportunity outcomesDevelop innovative solutions to meet customers challenges and market requirementsEnsure Collaboration with other ABB divisions to maximize the opportunity portfolio for ABBAchievement against set KPI’s and agreed personal objectivesEnsure timely responses to business information and support requestsAssist with input into Budgeting process

Your background

5+ years of experience in Medium and Low Voltage products and systems, Technical Sales Support with Distribution Automation and ApparatusSound knowledge of IEC61850 Protocols, SCADA, ABB Product Portfolio and the Digital marketA HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Installations and EngineeringCurrent Driving licenses valid in United KingdomGreat communication skillsAbility to work to timescalesAbility to demonstrate a “team” ethic.Strategic thinkerCreative approach to developing new businessExperience at Building and delivering Strategies to win / develop ABB portfolioA culture of IntegrityAn understanding of “Values Based Selling” processPC literate including MS Office, Excel, Word etc.
