WDAF-TV/FOX4, the Nexstar station in Kansas City, MO, is looking for an experienced Digital Strategic Account Manager to join our winning team. Kansas City is a vibrant, growing market and home to the champion Kansas City Chiefs.
The Digital Strategic Account Manager is responsible for developing digital marketing recommendations and advertising campaigns that generate superior outcomes for our clients. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who can work effectively both independently and collaborating in a team environment. The ideal candidate has digital sales experience and will master Nexstar’s proprietary tools to develop solutions, proposals, and presentations to targeted and existing clients. This position collaborates with administrative team members, account executives and sales managers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to obtain new clients by cold calling, networking, prospecting, and successful negotiationStrong oral, problem solving, communications, writing, negotiation, and presentation skillsAttention to detailTime management and ability to juggle multiple client needsSolve problems, collaborate with teammates, and utilize all resources available.Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and team playerExecution of client campaigns from start to finishProvides creative and innovative solutions for clients utilizing industry trends, selling techniques, and digital product knowledge.Create and execute go-to-market strategies and tactics that result in superior outcomes for the client and in accordance with departmental, company and personal revenue goals.Monthly reporting and optimizations for all digital marketing campaignsPerforms other duties as assigned.Conduct in-depth analysis to identify potential opportunities, pain points, and develop tailored digital marketing plans with specific objectives and KPIsCollaborate with the sales team to provide them with relevant marketing materials, account insights, and sales enablement tools to support their interactions with their accountsProactively communicate campaign progress, address any concerns and manage expectationsMonitor campaign performance metrics, analyze data insights, and deliver regular reports to sales team highlighting key achievements and areas for optimizationRequirements and Skills:
BA or BS in Business Marketing/Advertising or Digital Sales experience preferred2+ years of digital marketing services, product offerings and effective use for clients is preferred.Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager experience preferredSEO and SEM implementation experienceEnjoys making in-person sales calls, including cold calls, to businesses needing B2B as well as B 2C digital campaign strategiesAbility to interact with high-level decision makersAbility to execute in an organization through collaboration and a consultative processExcellent follow-up, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail is a mustProven Ability to meet and exceed sales goals.Keep up with industry trends and changesPartner with current sales team to generate digital revenue.
