Digital Strategic Account Manager
The Digital Strategic Account Manager is responsible for driving digital revenue through the development and execution of innovative digital media strategies. This role involves collaborating closely with sales management, account executives, and production teams to create, implement, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across various platforms. Key Responsibilities + Digital Revenue Generation: + Collaborate with Sales Management and Account Executives to identify and secure digital revenue opportunities + Digital Media Strategy Development: + Create tailored media strategies based on advertiser goals to drive growth. + Data Analysis & Campaign Optimization: + Perform in-depth data analysis to derive actionable insights. + Evaluate KPIs to optimize campaign performance. + Digital Campaign Management: + Oversee digital order entry and updates. + Monitor and coordinate campaign execution across platforms such as WCIA.com, OTT & Streaming Platforms, Display, Pre-Roll, SEM, Retargeting, Social Media Marketing, YouTube, and other third-party digital products. + Creative Coordination: + Serve as a liaison between sales and production team to develop marketing creatives (e.g., display banners, videos, emails). + Support & Training: + Assist sales executives with training, order entry, campaign monitoring, creative requests, trafficking, reporting, and analytics. + Help management with digital sales materials, campaign pacing, and performance metrics. + Additional Duties: + Assist with station contesting and sweepstakes. + Perform other assigned duties as needed. Key Qualifications + Educational Background: + BA or BS in Marketing, Advertising, Communications (preferred). + Digital Marketing Expertise: + Foundational knowledge of digital strategies including: + SEM, SEO, Social, Display, Video, OTT, Mobile, Addressable Solutions, Email, and Digital Audio. + Experience & Skills: + Prior experience in digital marketing coordination or media sales is preferred. + Significant understanding of local digital marketing services and effective client applications. + Proactive, motivated, and self-starting attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. + Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, follow-up, and organizational skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; additional design software abilities are a plus. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. + Additional Desirable Skills/Certifications: + Experience with platforms/tools such as Wide Orbit, Monarch, ComScore, or Nielsen. + IAB and/or Google AdWords Certification. + Automotive and database digital marketing experience is an asset.
