Digital Strategist
As a member of the WAVY/FOX43 digital sales team, the Digital Strategist is responsible for generating and growing digital marketing revenue for the company. The DS will be the market’s subject matter expert on digital services and will work with the Nexstar sales team, to achieve budgeted revenue goals in the digital marketing services area.The Digital Strategist will achieve this by professionally and effectively selling Nexstar Digital Local Agency Services suite of digital products (including targeted video, digital audience and reach extensions, SEO/SEM, and sponsorships) with the objective of advancing client objectives.
Responsibilities:
Digital marketing services sales lead and subject matter expert in your marketDevelop and execute go-to-market sales strategies and tactics that result in exceeding personal and company revenue targetsEstablish, maintain and grow meaningful client relationshipsGenerate new digital marketing services business and grow business from existing clientsBe an effective educator and ambassador both internally and externally on the benefits of digital marketing for clientsMeaningful contributor in sales meetings on digital marketing topics (ex. best practice sharing, industry trends). Assist with training sales team on digital marketing servicesConduct educational forums and/or seminars for clientsBe an effective partner with the market's sales team in generating synergy revenueEffective closerConsistently communicate with clientsEffective in "four-legged" call situationsRequirements:
Education: BA or BS in Business, Marketing, Advertising or Communications or equivalent experience preferred
Experience:
3+ years of digital marketing or media sales preferredSignificant knowledge of the local digital marketing services product offering and its effective use for clients.In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics and reading campaign reports. IAB certified a plus!Motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who is able to work effectively both independently and collaborating in a team environmentEffective communication and client presentation skillsAbility to interact with high-level decision-makersAbility to execute in an organization through collaboration and consultative processExcellent follow-up, strong organizational skills and attention to detailProven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.Up to date on the latest trends in the digital marketing service industry.Ability to manage account receivables for your book of business.Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to become proficient on in-house sales systems.https://nexstar.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/nexstar
