ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
Lead the Supply Chain digital transformation aligned to Global Strategic objectives, principally the deployment of the “Ultimate Control Tower” Concept and IWS (Integrated Working System) phase progression.
The CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) Development Manager will work as the interface between BAU Supply Chain operations and functional CoE teams by: articulating the current capability gaps, participating in the development (Business requirements) and evaluation of suitable solutions and ultimately solution deployment to BAU operations to drive the delivery of the above stated objectives.
Geographic Scope: DRBUs ( Direct Business Report Units)
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Operationalise the CE Supply chain maturity journey by:Mapping current state Supply Chain processes / capabilities against UCT (Ultimate Control Tower) / IWS maturity curves. Identity gaps and build a pathway for the development and deployment of UCT / IWS processes and capabilities to ensure Supply Chain maturity progression vs plan.Lead the Area SC digitalisation agenda and processes (Kinaxis, Power BI Dashboard, DFA, Reporting) enabling: access to near real time data reporting, fast decision making, Issue RCA or equivalent experience.Conduct necessary benchmarking reviews vs best practice operations (internal or external).Drive the development of individuals and teams by: acting as a role model and living the values, managing performance, coordination of training/education and mentorship.ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Min. 3 years’ experience in CPG Supply Chain, ideally multi discipline e.g. logistics and planning.Experience in Project management principles and processes, ideally within digital transformation of supply chain.Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
Good breadth of Supply Chain knowledge (concepts and principles) across multiple fields: e.g. Planning, NPI, Logistics, Production, IWS. Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.Experience in handling change across multiple partner groups successfully. Experienced negotiation / influencing skills: ability to influence business partners Strong numerical and analytical abilitiesPassion and aim for the development of people, processes, capability.Some exposure / experience in digital transformation projects.Demonstrated ability to identify optimisation initiatives: Savings, Cost avoidance, Cash, NCL.Proven ability to identify and develop talent.BENEFICIAL
