The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite, #LI-hybridThis role is contributing to the Electrification Service Business Globally.You will be mainly accountable for:• Identify potential opportunities of Sustainability and Process Performance applications considering accessible customers in the Region for Energy Industries, in cooperation with Hub organizations and Local Division units.• Cooperate with Hubs and Local Divisions to approach customers, identify the specific solution within the portfolio and the specific process unit, plant or plant grouping to be covered by the solution• Organize introductory customer presentations, articulate solution rationale, customer benefits, technical setup and architecture, services, solution timeline, integration steps, etc. Additionally, present quantitative and qualitative customer benefits from the solution• Coordinate with Local Divisions sales teams to supervise and guide the sales process in order to achieve the sales goal. Be proactive in support local sales to bring them up to speed with solution benefits from a customer perspective so that local sales can be more proactive in the overall process• Follow up customer opportunities, Requests for Proposal and Requests for Information, bringing together local sales and Digital unit team to address customer requirements, timelines and expectation – in terms of software products but also services, added value and overall goals.• Coordinate with the Digital technical team to estimate customer quantitative benefits, estimate preliminary project ROI where relevant/beneficial. In addition to that, support the Digital unit to prepare Technical Proposals, coordinate with local sales to prepare Commercial proposals and coordinate with selected Channel Partners to support sales of digital solutions, in a similar manner to support provided to the internal organization and in coordination with the Energy Industries Digital unit.• Prioritize opportunities based on success likelihood and timeline. Avoid overuse of resources on opportunities with low chances of success or with uncertainties.• Track and supervise opportunities pipeline for the current year and for future years. Support pipeline management and growth.
Qualifications for the roleMaster’s degree in Engineering or relevant technical field. Chemical / Process Engineering degree will be a plus At least 5 years’ experience in technical sales and/or pre-sales support of relevant digital solutions – Energy Management and Optimization, Advanced Process Control, Process Optimization, VPP Plants/DERMS, etc. Experience with Model Predictive Control software will be considered a plus. Experience in relevant industries – Upstream, Midstream, Refining, Chem, Power Generation, Water, etc. Experience in Renewables/DERMS/VPP is considered a plus. Experience in managing TSO and Energy Markets requirements and standards is considered a plus.
