What you'll do:

The Digital Technology Delivery Director will lead the delivery of digital technology solutions leveraging partnerships with other technology teams (e.g., Architecture, Infrastructure, Engineering, and Support), business teams and leaders, strategic partners, and third-party technology providers. In support of the delivery of new or enhanced digital experiences and solutions, the position will have direct or oversight responsibilities for technology engineering, application acquisition/development, and quality assurance. This role works closely with product leaders across business teams in our digital experience space to ensure the delivery and reliability of technology solutions is achieved. The position performs supervisory duties for team, including vendor resources and coordinates coverage for all related responsibilities, and assists in establishing strategic and operational technology goals and objectives.

Ability to lead, motivate and get the very best out of a team comprised of vendors, contract, employees who may have indirect reporting relationships. Drive Employee development, retention, resource planning, talent management, performance management, and achieve a diverse and engaged workforce.Lead and manage vendor and contract resources, ensuring that they meet the team goals.Build and maintain partnerships to ensure technology team members understand business needs, functional specifications, and delivery solutions that align with business objectives.Develop solutions across multiple IT capability domains (APIs and/or web services, Portals, Web /Mobile solutions, Core Application Services, Stored Procedures, SSIS packages)Provide insight and guidance, and resolve escalated issues throughout the application development, implementation, and support lifecycle.Provide rapid response and restoration of production faults (including problem resolution and Correction of Error) in partnership with the Application Support team.Ensure security of application, transactions, and client dataManage robust, reliable, secure, and scalable systems on premise or in the cloud.Encourage a continuous improvement culture to improve the efficiency, scalability, stability, and security of applications.Acts as a senior point of escalation to troubleshoot, report, and resolve technology operational issues.Provide oversight, problem-solving and participation in complex infrastructure implementations, system upgrades, and architectural troubleshooting.Set goals, strategies and objectives and oversee the deployment of large/enterprise scale initiatives.Implements risk management processes to proactively identify and mitigate technology security threats and establish operational controls that contain risk within the overall risk tolerance of the bank  

Qualifications

18+ years as a senior digital technology leader with broad knowledge across a diversity of business and technology functions.Minimum of 12+ years’ experience in a role overseeing technology delivery, software (Digital Origination, Digital Banking) development in an agile environment, project management, project financial budgets, IT consulting, or related field.Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.Master’s Degree in Business or technical discipline considered a plus.Experience in financial services industry and fintech vendorsStrong project management skills with the ability to prioritize activities for early delivery that drive the greatest benefit.Hands on experience managing complex technology solutions with 24/7 high-availability multi-site operating environment, application hosting, security and information protection, and disaster recovery architectures.Demonstrated ability to think strategically, deliver innovation, and drive improved user experience.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences and senior management.Proven ability to build strong partnerships with business, operations, technology leadership, 3rd party providers and ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.Strong knowledge and experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying multiple software development life cycles (SDLC).Experience with Core Banking platforms and providers, mobile and digital banking platforms, payment systems, and system integration technologies.
