We are looking for a passionate Digital Technology Strategy – Enterprise Architect who is a strong connector-communicator with an innovative and inquisitive mindset to join our DT Strategy & Architecture team, based in our Brussels (Anderlecht) office, Belgium. Our hybrid working policy allows homeworking for up to 60%.

 

About the role

As a Digital Technology Strategy– Enterprise Architect, you develop, drive adoption of and ensure the effectiveness of our technology strategy and architecture in delivering impactful business outcomes and patient value, with future flexibility and adaptability in mind. You are a trusted advisor with a hands-on attitude, and thrive on collaboratively solving complex challenges and architecting innovative solutions. You have a passion for new technologies and trends, and the business opportunities they offer. You enjoy working in an agile, iterative, and outcome-focused environment, exemplified by a user experience centric and product management mindset.

 

Team

You will work within a team of highly skilled architects. You will partner with key stakeholders across the company and ecosystem to acquire a deep understanding of the business needs, opportunities, challenges and ecosystem factors in order to develop, propose and promote the adoption of timely, relevant and impactful IT technology strategies and solutions. You will tackle leading-edge challenges in collaboration with multidisciplinary internal and external experts we have privileged access to thanks to our partnerships.

 

What you’ll do

Apply and grow your technology strategy and architecture expertise, crafting impactful stakeholder solutions across the digital spectrum.Provide guidance on emerging technologies and trends, and strategic digital initiatives; develop points-of-view and formulate decision-ready recommendations.Co-create enterprise and domain level technology strategies and roadmaps with colleagues and partners, communicate and champion their implementation.Co-create actionable architectural designs and recommend technology, vendor and delivery options, informed by proactively engaging and advising stakeholders on vision and roadmaps, functional and operational requirements, goals and constraints. You facilitate decision making by clearly articulating options and trade-offs, and pragmatically applying well-architected principles and frameworks, aiming for resilience and agility.Co-create and evangelize reusable methodologies, reference architectures, patterns and other artefacts to accelerate time-to-market for new systems, while reducing cost and/or risk.Evangelize and foster a culture of innovation across the organization, while driving continuous improvements, internalizing and scaling learnings and best practices.


Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

A Master’s degree in Computer Sciences, (Business) Engineering or a related degree. And at least 3 years of experience in the analysis, design, development, and deployment of technology solutions, adopting an enterprise perspective.Practical knowledge on modern architectural styles, patterns, and practices. Experience with cloud (native) architectures and well-architected frameworks, including security.Good understanding of product management, agile principles, and development methodologies.An analytical approach and attitude, using data and facts to support strategic recommendations.Strong business acumen, communication, negotiation and influencing skills. Fluent command of English is a must, other languages are a plus.Passion for working in multidisciplinary teams, embracing different perspectives to drive better outcomes. Able to inspire and rally commitment for novel ideas and approaches.
