Digital Transformation Subject Matter ExpertKBR is seeking a seeking a Digital Transformation Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support Headquarters Space Training and Readiness Command (HQ STARCOM) in Colorado Springs, CO. An active TS/SCI is required to be considered for this position.
A strong candidate can provide analysis and recommendations on digital transformation and innovation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the STARCOM Technical Director.Work with HQ USSF/CTIO, USSF Field Commands, HQ STARCOM directorates, subordinate Deltas, USAF MAJCOMS, program offices, manufacturers, vendors and other organizations to obtain information needed to implement projects within the command.Provide recommendations on emerging technologies to enhance capabilities and assist units in the implementation of the Space Force Digital Strategy and STARCOM OPORD Lines of Effort.Assist in the development of command policies governing the planning and deployment of significantly new, controversial, or far-reaching capabilities and solutions.Support HQ STARCOM inputs to the USAF’s digital governance corporate structure.Brief senior leadership and decision makers through corporate processes.Ensure products reflect STARCOM’s command objectives, policies and needs.Attend assigned meetings to share research and collaborate efforts.Capture meeting action items and coordinate tasks with other personnel.Travel may be required for limited durations to support Customer events.Qualifications:
Required:
An active TS/SCI clearance is required for this position.3+ years of experience with operating or acquiring military capabilities.Knowledge of technological advances in space mission areas.Knowledge of Information Technology roles and responsibilities.Knowledge of information security practices.Experience with providing strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis and recommendations.Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality products in a high-tempo, collaborative environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel).Excellent oral and written communication skills.Desired:
BA/BS degree (5+ years of relevant experience may substitute)Headquarters experience in the US Space Force, US Air Force, Combatant Command, SpOC, STARCOM or equivalent.Experience with US Space Force weapon systems and missions.Accustomed to professionally working with internal / external senior leaders, offices, directorates, and action officers.Work Environment:

Basic Compensation:
$115,000-$125,000
This range is for Colorado only.
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
