**Dimensional Tech Job Description**
**As a Dimensional Tech, you will be responsible for verifying the conformance of products to shop drawings and contract requirements through detailed dimensional measurements. This involves using tools like tape measures and calipers to ensure that products meet the specified dimensions, as well as conducting visual inspections to assess the quality of welds.**
**Responsibilities:**
+ Perform precise dimensional measurements using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools to ensure products align with drawing specifications.
+ Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure they meet quality and integrity standards.
+ Ensure all products conform to the specified shop drawings and contract requirements.
**Essential Skills:**
+ Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
+ Proficiency in using measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers for dimensional checks.
+ Keen attention to detail with a focus on ensuring products meet specified dimensions and quality standards.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in dimensional measurement or inspection.
+ Familiarity with welding inspection methods is a plus.
+ Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.
**Work Environment:**
**You will work in an industrial setting that is hot, dusty, and noisy, with open-air facilities and ventilation. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, including hard hats and steel-toed or strap-up leather boots. Ear and eye protection will be provided.**
**Job Type & Location:**
**This is a Contract-to-Hire position located in Gibsonton, Florida.**
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $36.00/hr.
