A DAY IN THE LIFE:
The Dir, Treasury plays a critical role in managing the company's cash flow, optimizing liquidity, mitigating financial risk, overseeing treasury operations, and supports cash flow forecasting. This role requires strategic planning, risk management, and close collaboration with multiple departments.
YOU’RE AWESOME AT:
Cash Management
Oversees daily cash flow activities, including forecasting, collections, and disbursements. Develops and maintains accurate cash flow forecasts, including daily, weekly, and monthly projections. Monitors cash balances and bank accounts, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational and financial obligations. Manages cash concentration and optimizes cash flow through various strategies, such as bank sweeps and investments. Implements and monitors cash concentration strategies to optimize cash availability.Treasury Operations
Manages bank relationships and negotiates optimal banking terms and fees, including optimizing banking services to minimize costs and maximize efficiency. Manages all aspects of treasury operations, including foreign exchange (FX) risk management, hedging contracts execution, and international payments. Implements and maintains internal controls for treasury operations to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Liquidity Management
Develops and implements short-term and long-term liquidity plans to ensure the company has sufficient funds to meet its obligations. Monitors and manages debt levels and maturities. Explores and implements funding strategies to support business growth.Financial Risk Management
Identifies, assesses, and mitigates financial risks, including currency risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk. Develops and implements hedging strategies to minimize the impact of market volatility.Investments
Manages the company's investment portfolio, including short-term and long-term investments. Conducts due diligence on investment opportunities and make recommendations to senior management.Strategic Planning and Financial Forecasting & Analysis
Collaborates with FP&A team to develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts, including revenue, expense, and capital expenditure projections. Analyzes financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Collaborates with international finance teams and the tax department to develop and implement strategic treasury plans that align with the company's overall business objectives. Advises on the impact of tax regulations and international financial markets on treasury operations.
EXTRA AWESOME:
B.S. in Accounting or related field or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience. Master’s degree in finance, preferred. 10+ years corporate treasury experience. Demonstrated strengths in financial modeling and data analysis. Demonstrated success in corporate treasury, with a strong understanding of cash management, FX risk management, and treasury operations. Experience with treasury management systems (TMS). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations. Ability to dive into details, translate and statistically analyze data, and effectively report results through written and/or graphical formats. Ability to diagnose problems and identify and implement appropriate solutions. A positive approach to people and problem solutions along with a strong sense of discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Capable of managing multiple priorities effectively and ability to identify and recommend best course of action from several alternatives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization. Ability to effectively use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for effective management reporting and presentation.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The starting base pay range for this position is $155,000 - $185,000 annually. Base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidate’s location and the overall job market. In addition to base pay, Tandem offers a competitive compensation package that includes bonus, equity, and a robust benefits package.
Tandem offers health care benefits such as medical, dental, vision available your first day, as well as health savings accounts and flexible saving accounts. You’ll also receive 11 paid holidays per year, unlimited PTO and you will have access to a 401k plan with company match as well as an Employee Stock Purchase plan.
