Responsibilities Hanover Hill Behavioral Health (HHB), Located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in a region known as the Lehigh Valley, will opening in late fall 2025. HHB is seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to join our leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team while working in a state-of-the-art facility, including EPIC. HHB combines two leaders in health care, in the partnership of Universal Health Services & Lehigh Valley Health Network. This 144-bed free standing behavioral health facility will offer the community high-quality behavioral health care services for seniors, adults and adolescents. The Director of Plant Operations/Safety (DPO) is responsible for oversight of public utilities, security systems (alarms, access controls, etc.), HVAC systems, physical plant operations, environmental services, housekeeping, dietary, grounds landscaping, managing capital projects and coordination of emergency management. This individual ensures compliance with pertinent healthcare building codes, accreditation standards, OSHA, and contractual work specifications; and oversees emergency facilities operational initiatives and plans. In addition, this individual oversees all construction projects and any work performed by outside vendors and contractors, while assuring that all work performed meets fire and safety codes. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Knowledge/Experience: Five to Ten years of progressive experience in supervision and maintenance. Specific experience should include maintenance installation, construction, and maintenance of grounds, utilities, and buildings. Must be familiar with The Joint Commission standards or demonstrate the ability to understand and follow regulations. Previous management experience is strongly preferred.
