Summary

Director Enterprise Applications

Position Highlights:

Under the direction of the CASO, the Director of Enterprise Applications leads all components of Moffitt business applications to achieve established objectives, promote quality, and drive business value in compliance with internal and external policies and procedures. Works closely with key administrative, operational, business and research departments via IT functional leads to ensure high quality solutions delivery and ongoing support. Partners with business leaders and front-line customers to optimize applications and use for enhanced performance. Serves as a resource to senior leadership within and beyond IT to identify, assess and prioritize meaningful opportunities to use business (non-clinical) applications within clinical and research settings, and to develop the people, processes, and technologies to achieve that objective.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have experience with the Workday platform. The candidate will have Director level experience with the design, development, implementation and support of Workday enterprise.

Responsibilities:

Oversees implementation, ongoing use, and maintenance of all business (non-clinical) applications including financial & operational and research systems Leads and manages process development and operational decisions related to all business and research applications Reviews and approves departmental budget(s); assists with contract negotiations with external vendors Maintains expertise in related information technologies and techniques Evaluates overall business needs, assesses existing and emerging application technologies for potential solutions and formulates recommendations to present to leadership Promotes and encourages staff to provide superior customer service to all customers, internal and external Assures the overall quality, consistency, and completeness of appropriate business and research applications documentation and follow up

Credentials and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree – field of study: Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related field. Minimum eight (8) years of progressive experience leading highly complex software delivery and support in a healthcare environment Minimum of five (5) years management experience. Demonstrated experience in design, development, implementation and support of Workday enterprise resource planning (ERP), and/or business applications in a healthcare environment. Prior experience working in an academic, research and medical institute. Ability to support complex budgets and prior contracting experience. Prior support of the Workday platform
