Dir of Event Planning & Operations

Functions as the Strategic Business Leader of Event Planning & Operations including the departments of Event Planning, Event Operations and Event Technology, if applicable.  Position oversees the development and implementation of departmental strategies and ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives.  The position has overall responsibility for executing all hotel events with a seamless turnover from sales to operations and back to sales.  The Director of Event Planning & Operations ensures the team meets the brand’s target customer needs, ensures associate satisfaction, focuses on growing event revenues and maximizes the financial performance of the department. Develops and implements hotel-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand’s target customer and property associates and provide a return on investment to the owner and PCH Hotels and Resorts, Inc.
