JOB TITLE:

Dir of Operations, CH Institute for Urban Care

SUMMARY (Basic Purpose of the Job)

Provides leadership, supervision and management of business and administrative operations of the Institute for Urban Care in its mission to coalesce, grow and align the services of CH with community and other partners to advance the health and well-being of the residents of Trenton. Develops, translates, and prioritizes organizational goals, strategies, and new initiatives to positively impact the health outcomes, experience, and input from the Trenton community while working closely with the Executive Director. Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and systems related to fiscal management, human resource management, health care administration, governmental regulations, and corporate compliance requirements. Develops and reports performance metrics. Effectively communicates both internally and externally.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent health care experience

Experience:

Ten years of clinical, programmatic, or healthcare leadership experience.

Other Credentials:

Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to lead, manage staff, implement new grants and initiatives, collect and evaluate data. Possesses exceptional organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills..

Special Training:

Strong computer skills (word processing, database, spreadsheet, presentation), grant and new program development and implementation experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSOversees, coordinates and assists in the implementation and evaluation of programmatic activities, special initiatives, and community outreach programs across the Institute for Urban Care (IUC).Manages and develops IUC staff members with the goal of building employees’ skills and experience and the development of succession planning.Develops and tracks metrics to monitor programmatic success in collaboration with IUC leadership.Accountable for program growth initiatives and for success in achieving IUC goals and objectivesProvides leadership to and manages efforts of staff to ensure appropriate support to maximize synergies for all departments within CH.Analyzes and prioritizes new business opportunities identifying new programs and grants that can increase volume, quality and services that align with CH strategy.Provides leadership and support to various departments seeking new grant funding opportunities. Works collaboratively to ensure compliance with CH policy.Analyzes disparate data sets and identify trends leading to potential performance improvement opportunities.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities by reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizationsLeads budget planning and monitoring.Performs other duties as assigned.
