Job Summary

The Program Director SAP Enterprise Modernization Project is responsible for the management of multiple inter-dependent projects. Oversees all aspects of assigned programs throughout project lifecycles to ensure completion within the defined scope, quality, and time and cost constraints. Supervises individual project managers, controllers, schedulers, enterprise architects and soltion architects. Ensures accurate allocations of resources throughout the program. Leads multi- disciplinary teams, composed of various levels of personnel, vendors, and clients to create and deploy successful programs. Programs at PSEG are a group of related projects managed in a coordinated way to obtain benefits and control not available from managing them individually. Programs may contain elements of work outside of the scope of the discrete projects in the program.

The Program Manager -SAP Enterprise Modernization is responsible for the management and implementation of program which is worth and estimated 400 Million which includes leading the SAP Modernization Program which is a full scale business transformation to SAP S4/HAN.  The program will drive significant business value companywide.  The technical scope includes key elements of the SAP S/4HANA application including Enterprise Resource Plannning (ERP), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Customer Information System/Customer Relationship Management/Billing (CIS/CRM/Billing) and adjacent platforms to be determined during Phase 0. In addition to the project mangement responsibilities the Progrimplementingam Manager will have responsibility for overseeing a team of individuals who will be responsible for implementing this initiative across the enterprise.

The strategic scope includes implementing the program to ensue alignment across the company and to ensure outcomes are achieved. The program manager ensures critical programs are effectively governed to achieve target outcomes.  The program manager will lead internal IT and business resources to execute the program.

Job Responsibilities Budget - Lead development of multi-year budgets for program and ensure alignment across enterprise efforts and ensure teams manage program budget and expenditures for authorized amount within PSEG stage gate tolerances. Develop and lead the project budget, including forecasting and cost control. Optimize resource allocation to improve efficiency and effectiveness of project initiatives. Leadership and Oversight - Liaise across Lines of Business to shape and drive program governance, to assess program risks and issues, and to efficiently formulate and mobilize mitigation and resolution steps where needed. Provide central oversight and management for complex, highly visible program from inception through execution. Resource Management - Devleops and aligns roles as required to deliver core process area outcomes. Aligns with leadership on resource performance and number of resources to deliver requied process area(s) metrics. Process Management - Conduct analysis on program levers, dependencies, and tradeoffs to inform program timelines, execution models and strategic investment decisions. Program Execution - Set expectations for program execution, schedule & scope, including incorporation of stakeholder expectations and business outcomes. Staff Oversight and Development – Manage team and work to build core competencies within the area with a focus on operational excellence.         Vendor Management - Oversee relationships with project solution providers, system integrators, and consultants. Evaluate and select external vendors as needed. Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met.             Risk Management - Establish and maintain an effective risk management governance processes to provide transparency to all program parties and drive key decisions as required. Stakeholder Engagement - Liaise across Lines of Business to shape and drive program governance, to assess program risks and issues, and to efficiently formulate and mobilize mitigation and resolution steps where needed. Communication - Concisely articulate program updates for senior leaders to elevate progress against key milestones and to escalate blockers and support needed. Develop senior level presentations and present in meetings with business leaders, senior executive team (SET) and the board of directors (BOD). Strategy & Governance - Develop and execute project strategy and governance. Establish and maintain effective governance processes to ensure compliance, security, and data integrity across project systems. Develop and implement standards and policies for project system management.     Job Specific Qualifications 10 years with Bachelors Degree or Equivalent; 12 years relevant experience in lieu of degree
