WE ARE LOOKING FOR A Direct Accounts Analyst II

SENIORITY LEVEL: Entry Level

LOCATION: Winston Salem

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

This role is part of Wholesale Services and is responsible for providing world class service and support for direct buying customers of the RAI Operating Companies and field-based Trade Marketing personnel.  The Analyst is accountable for daily order management, identifying and resolving order discrepancies to prevent delays. Proactive engagement with assigned customers to address issues related to product orders (replenishment and promotional) and deliveries. The scope of responsibility also includes active collaboration with internal functions regarding product and promotional orders, credits/debits, allocations, logistics, invoices, and ad hoc reporting.

Geographic Scope: Local

Travel Required: Rare/Limited Travel by Plane or Car - (Up to 10%)

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Daily analysis of assigned customer orders to quickly identify issues regarding out of stocks, changes in delivery dates and any trends requiring improvements.Independently evaluate orders which exceed weekly allocations and make decisions which protect our ability to compete by ensuring all customers have access to available finished goods.Monitor, trouble-shoot and resolve problems relating to orders submitted via EDI and collaborate with internal functions and our direct customer’s technical personnel to resolve issues.Assist customers with our on-line ordering site Order DirectDevelop and review Promotion Execution status reports for key customers.Generate Tax Affidavits for State Tax reimbursements.Issue FICO credits and generate required financial documents.Actively participate in team projects and collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School Diploma accepted with equivalent work experience (3-5 years)Demonstrated ability to identify obstacles/issues and develop solutions to balance business and customer needs.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsSolid Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
