Rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing direct services and who enjoys the flexibility of working in a variety of settings. The successful candidate will work full-time evenings with clients at our housing site in Collinsville, IL.

Responsibilities

Provide services in the location most conducive to the consumer’s level of change, including the client’s apartment or other community location. Facilitate services identified in the IM-CANS that are consumer-driven and that meet program requirements. Pre-authorize and re-authorize services. Provide case management, community support, and medication training and monitoring. Use evidence-based practices focusing on skill building and on individual, family, and group therapy.

 

Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent plus 6 months’ peer or social service experience. Demonstrated skills in human services and in services to adults. Demonstrated ability to work within organizational structure; to accept supervision; and to work constructively with consumers, treatment resources, and the community. Basic computer skills including MS Word and an electronic medical record. Valid driver’s license, private auto insurance, and be insurable.

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $19.00 - $20.00 an hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity.
