We invest in our community and strongly believe that meaningful commitment to a wide variety of philanthropic organizations builds a better world and a brand that makes us proud. **Job Category** Customer Support **Position Summary** This position is responsible for reviewing and analyzing direct dispute letters received from consumers to determine the appropriate course of action and response. Typically, these disputes request the modification of credit bureau trade lines or account adjustments. All disputes require response within a specified timeframe to ensure adherence to compliance requirements. **Responsibilities** **Review and research letter requests to determine the appropriate level of response** **Compile responses to all direct dispute requests** **Perform research and analysis regarding customer account activities** **Respond to customer pay history inquiries, specific credit reporting and account adjustments** **Ensure all correspondence is maintained per the established policy** **Document on accounts as appropriate** **Follow all compliance guidelines** **Minimum Qualifications** **Ability to process daily work in an organized manner to meet required timeframes** **Ability to research and analyze correspondence to determine the appropriate course of action** **Ability to work independently and within a team** **Ability to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills** **Maintains a foundational awareness of Microsoft Office product suite** **Ability to communicate effectively across COEs** **Ability to meet and maintain required KPIs** **Demonstrates strict adherence to banking regulations and internal policies** **Required:** High School Diploma or equivalent **Preferred:** Two years of financial services experience, with established proficiency in researching and responding to consumer credit disputes **Location** : Full on-site in Brook Park, Ohio **Benefits** **: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Life Insurance, Pet Insurance, PTO, Referral Payment, Tire and Automotive Services Discounts, On-site Fitness Center and Café.** **What we offer** At Bridgestone, what really matters is to foster co-creation opportunities and empowering you to be creative and curious to make mobility safer, more efficient, and more sustainable for future generations.
