Job Description

Excellent Direct Hire Opportunity for our client located in Mundelein, IL - As Health Safety Environmental (HS&E) Coordinator you will be responsible to assist or Cover trainings for personnel for specific needs in general trainings and production trainings, update training records, perform safety walkthroughs, complete paperwork for accidents. Standard 40hrs and weekend overtime.

Pay Rate: $20/hr + up based on experience

Work Experience

What you’ll be doing:

Update training records and documentation when required.Perform Safety walkthroughs to identify potential hazards and process reports to distribute to departments.Complete paperwork and follow up on corrective actions for internal accidents.Have Manufacturing process knowledge per department i.e. Flow..Update Training Matrix monthly when needed..Support in the implementation of the Initiatives for ISO 14000.Seek out potential cost savings on safety items.Perform day to day tasks for HS&E at Corporate location (Meetings, Projects, Trainings, etc.).Update MSDS in the Unipoint system.

Qualifications:

Highschool Degree or equivalent or degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Health, or a related fieldMinimum 2 years of relevant experience.Strong oral and written communication skills.Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Strong planning and organizational skills.
