Job Description Shift: 1st This position is onsite 100% of the time. Purpose of Job Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, SIPOC, VSM, DOE, SPC, Hypothesis Testing) to streamline all processes required to manufacture our product from component receipt through shipping to our customers. Perform detailed process analysis to identify and remove constraints to material product flow. Ability to define and lead continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen Events, Six Sigma Projects and the  Lean Programs. Strong Team Building, Project Management and Communication (verbal, written, presentation, charts/graphs) skills. Major Duties/Responsibilities Coordinate activities associated with Continuous Improvement Activity.  These activities require close cooperation and planning Manage  Lean Program. Create midterm plan, annual plan, monthly plans, progress reporting and procedural documents needed to grow and maintain the Lean Program. Assist other IE team members with process constraint management and reduction to meet Customer program requirements. Work with Management Team to develop Key Performance Indicators to promote effective management of production processes. Execute special projects, as required. Education, Experience and Knowledge Education: Bachelors in Industrial Engineering Lean Six Sigma Certification (Minimum Green Belt or equivalent) – Preferred Related Experience: 3 years of progressive Manufacturing Lean-related experience in automotive or similar manufacturing industry Special Training or Competency: Computer literate – Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Project Management. Ability to create Value Stream Mapping and detailed Process Analysis. Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools, including Six Sigma
