**Job Title: Maintenance Technician | 1st OR 2nd Shift | Direct Hire**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician with a broad range of skills in servicing and repairing equipment, particularly in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery, performing preventative maintenance, and adhering to safety protocols.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled or assigned.
+ Service and repair die-casting equipment and associated machinery.
+ Utilize power tools and inspection tools to perform repairs.
+ Read and interpret schematics, symbols, and blueprints.
+ Understand and implement lockout/tagout procedures for equipment.
+ Handle and maintain chemicals safely, adhering to spill control and containment procedures.
+ Operate power industrial trucks and boom lifts.
+ Follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
+ Conduct repairs on equipment other than plant machinery, including risers.
+ Understand procedures for confined spaces and use of cooling tower reservoirs.
+ Regularly use and ensure equipment is in lockout/tagout mode.
+ Know the location of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and interpret required actions.
+ Perform all other duties as deemed necessary by the maintenance foreman.
**Essential Skills**
+ Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
+ Basic knowledge of electrical work and requirements.
+ Experience in reading schematics, symbols, and blueprints.
+ Ability to use power tools for repairs.
+ Basic machine shop skills in servicing and repairing equipment.
+ Basic shop math skills.
+ Preventative maintenance skills.
+ Ability to operate power industrial trucks and boom lifts.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 3-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician.
+ Mechanically and electrically inclined (50% each).
+ Experience troubleshooting hydraulics.
+ Ability to work off electrical blueprints.
+ Non-smoker or serious about quitting.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is very loud, clean around the facility, but can be dirty in work areas around the machinery. Candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions. Normal Industrial Manufacturing Environment
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Macedonia, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00
