Helpmates is seeking a fluent Mandarin-speaking Accounting Manager to oversee the company’s financial and controlling functions. This role ensures compliance with financial and operational regulations while managing team operations in alignment with company policies and practices. The Accounting Manager is responsible for meeting internal and external compliance requirements, adhering to US GAAP for accounting procedures, and following IFRS standards for group audits.

\nPay Range: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

\nJOB DUTIES: \n\n\n\tMonitor and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.\n\tPrepare cash flow forecasts to support financial planning.\n\tManage legal and corporate secretary documents as assigned by the treasurer.\n\tReview workflows in the Accounting Department and provide guidance for improvements.\n\tOversee credit control, review outstanding balances, and approve payments.\n\tReview general ledgers and resolve discrepancies or issues.\n\tSupervise the Accounting Department, including receivables and payables management.\n\tCoordinate with third-party consultants and auditors to complete required audits.\n\tOversee the closing of jobs in the accounting system.\n\tProvide training and development support for the accounting team.\n\tPrepare monthly and quarterly financial reports in accordance with group requirements.\n\tGenerate Profit and Loss statements.\n\tConduct balance confirmations with group companies.\n\tDevelop and finalize the annual budget.\n\tCoordinate with auditors to complete mandatory interim and annual audits every six months.\n\tEnsure compliance with group policies, US GAAP, and IFRS standards.\n\tWork with a CPA to prepare and file federal and state income tax returns.\n\tManage and renew Lines of Credit and Letters of Credit as needed.\n\n\nREQUIREMENTS: \n\n\n\tCargoWise Experience: Minimum of 2 years (Required).\n\tAccounting Experience: Minimum of 5 years (Required).\n\tLogistics Experience: Minimum of 1 year (Required).\n\tFluent Mandarin-speaking\n\tCPA certified - Certified Public Accountant\n\nBENEFITS: \n\n\n\t401(k)\n\t401(k) matching\n\tDental insurance\n\tEmployee assistance program\n\tHealth insurance\n\tLife insurance\n\tPaid time off\n\tVision insurance\n\nEducation:\n\n\n\tBachelor's (Required)\n\n\n \n\n#HSCE \n
