Job Responsibilities                                              
Your specific duties as a Direct Hire Plant Controller will include:    Compensation (Range): 25 / hour The Plant Controller directs financial activities for the organization by planning and coordinating all accounting operational functions. The Plant Controller manages the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of business results and prepares internal financial statements and other information for management vital to the decision-making process. The Plant Controller is responsible for supervision of the Accountant and Accounts Payable Coordinator. Responsible for all accounting activities related to month end/year end close including, but not limited to: journal entry preparation, approval, and posting, financial statement preparation and analysis (system and excel), account reconciliation preparation and approval, review of financial statements, including variance analysis, with Director of Finance and President. Supervise daily activities of Accounts Payable Coordinator and Accountant and provide guidance with technical and procedural questions and ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Includes development and monitoring of annual goals and objectives for the direct reports. Monitors AP and AR aging reports and works with processors to clear up past due items. Approves POs up to predetermined limit per workflow. Coordinate external audit activity associated with year-end audit. Responsibility for fixed asset sub-ledger/general ledger activity in PLEX. Maintain lease accounting schedules and prepare journal entries. Work with manufacturing part numbers, process routings, bill of materials, engineering                changes, monitor and establish standard costing, and prepare margin analysis. Monitor inventory (SCAR) transactions, posts monthly journal entry in PLEX, and reviews for reasonableness. Maintain high level reserve calculations for LCM and Slow Moving/Obsolete Material. Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management. Assists Director of Finance with various governmental, audit, or other external party information requests. Ensures compliance with internal controls. Maintain and administer company credit card program. Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes. Other duties that include, but not limited to, projects and tasks as assigned by the Director of Finance. Job Requirements
As a Direct Hire Plant Controller you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.  It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with seven (7) to ten (10) years of financial accounting management and supervision experience required. Public accounting and/or automotive experience preferred. CPA or CMA required. Strong analytical skills, independent problem solving skills, product cost experience, and strong oral and written communication skills required. Advanced use of Microsoft Excel required. Experience with fully integrated ERP systems a must with PLEX experience preferred (costing focus). Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint required Extensive knowledge of GAAP                                                                  Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint                                                                  Proficient in financial statement analysis                                                                             Travel & overtime may be required
