Tool and Model MakerPay Rate: $26.28 hourly compensation based on experience and qualifications.Location: Mayville, WIHours: 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm As a Tool and Model maker you will construct, modify, install, repair, and maintain all tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and sample products to support Manufacturing, Engineering and Sales.  Set up adjust and operate various manual lathes, mills, drill presses and grinders to product parts to the required tolerances.    Must have the ability to perform diversified machining operations, prescribe operational sequences and procedures to manufacture parts to specifications.  Responsible for the quality of the parts produced and perform first piece inspection, as well as subsequent inspections, to ensure overall quality.  Responsible for taking care of routine maintenance and keeping the work area clean and neat. Responsibilities:Construct, modify, install, repair, and maintain all tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and sample products to support Manufacturing.Set up adjust and operate various manual lathes, mills, drill presses and grinders to produce parts.Basic inspection to ensure quality of parts.Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality, and safety. Requirements: Must be able to read and understand blueprints and produce parts from the information obtained from the blueprints within require tolerances.Possess and be able to use micrometers and dial calipers to ensure the quality of the parts being produced.Must be equipped with all required tools to perform the functions of the job.Physical ability to do work requiring frequent standing, bending, twisting, turning, and lifting to 30lbs.Must be able to read and understand blueprints and perform first-piece inspections.Foll all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper machine guarding. Benefits and Perks:New Hire incentive bonus $1000 in 3 paymentsBonusesExceptional BenefitsTuition Assistance  401K plan up to 7% company contribution.11 paid Holidays, Flexible PTO   Your New Organization: Join a team that values its employees and provides competitive compensation.
