Join our mission-driven nonprofit organization as a **Direct Marketing Specialist** , where you will play a key role in executing high-scale **email, direct mail, and SMS marketing** campaigns. This position is ideal for a results-driven marketer with experience in **e-commerce strategies, content creation, and CRM management (HubSpot preferred)** . **Roles and Responsibilities**
**Plan and Execute High-Scale Marketing Campaigns:**
+ Develop, implement, and optimize **large-scale email marketing, direct mail, and SMS campaigns** to drive donor engagement and retention.
+ Utilize **e-commerce marketing strategies** to enhance donor interaction and conversions.
+ Write and design compelling marketing content tailored to diverse donor segments.
+ Ensure seamless integration between **direct and digital marketing efforts** .
+ Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and data analysts to produce high-performing marketing materials.
**Analyze & Optimize Performance Metrics:**
+ Track, analyze, and report on **open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates** to measure campaign effectiveness.
+ Conduct **A/B testing** to refine content, design, and segmentation strategies.
+ Leverage data insights for continuous improvement and ROI optimization.
+ Work closely with the data team to refine donor segmentation and personalization strategies.
**Donor & Audience Engagement:**
+ Personalize marketing strategies to build meaningful donor relationships.
+ Develop campaigns to **reactivate lapsed donors** and drive recurring giving.
+ Align marketing efforts with audience preferences in the **nonprofit and humanitarian sectors** .
+ Maintain donor communication records and optimize CRM usage.
**CRM & Marketing Automation (HubSpot Preferred):**
+ Utilize **HubSpot (preferred) or other CRM platforms** to manage marketing workflows.
+ Optimize automation processes to enhance engagement and streamline donor communication.
+ Segment audiences effectively to improve message relevance and response rates.
**Innovation & Industry Alignment:**
+ Stay up to date with **email marketing, direct mail, and SMS trends** , particularly in nonprofit and e-commerce fundraising.
+ Propose innovative **content strategies and donor engagement techniques** .
+ Explore new tools and technologies to enhance marketing efficiency.
**Qualifications & Skills**
**Education & Experience:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
+ **3-5 years of experience** in direct marketing, specifically with **high-scale email, direct mail, and SMS campaigns** .
+ Strong background in **e-commerce marketing** and audience engagement.
+ Experience in the **nonprofit or humanitarian sector** is highly preferred.
+ Proficiency in **CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred)** , **email marketing tools** , and **SMS platforms** .
**Technical & Analytical Skills:**
+ Expertise in **email marketing performance metrics** (open rates, CTR, conversion rates).
+ Strong **content writing and design** skills.
+ Knowledge of **direct mail production, compliance, and data privacy regulations** .
+ Proficiency in **marketing automation and segmentation strategies** .
