Title: Direct Materials Category Manager - Plastics
Location: Lakewood CO (hybrid; Open to Remote; relocation available)

Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 + 10% bonus

We are seeking an experienced Direct Materials Category Manager to lead our Plastics category strategy for the organizations. In this role, you'll lead efforts to optimize and manage the supply chain within high-mix, low-volume manufacturing settings, ensuring that our operations align with both product specifications and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute long-term category strategies for critical direct materials within the organizations global manufacturing network. Prepare RFx, analyze proposals, and facilitate cross-functional supplier selections to optimize total value. Negotiate pricing, capacity, and contractual terms with suppliers to enhance margin and drive category performance improvements.Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a global manufacturing company. Preferred experience with plastics commodities. Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Power BI.
