DSP Responsibilities:

Follow a care plan for the member and report on completed tasksObserve and report any changes in member's conditionAssist member with the self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring)Transport member to appointments, daily errands, and other locations as necessarySupport routine house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparationAssist people with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.)

DSP Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED, and one year of in-home care services experienceComfortable using an electronic deviceReliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organizedGood communication skillsAbility to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructionsReliable transportation, required for member transportation. Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance is required.Able to pass a criminal background check
