The Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing one-on-one services to clients and assisting in the implementation of consumer goals as outlined within the client’s support plan. We have client's who want to get out into the community so DSP's must be willing to transport client's (Pending approval to drive).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists in the implementation of written goals from the treatment planInstructs and reinforces target goal outcomes according to consumerAccurately notes consumer responses and results to staff; interventions and assessment via proper documentationMaintains appropriate professional conductAssists in the development of consumer treatment plan and goalsPerforms other duties as assigned/necessaryMinimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED requiredCPR/BCLS certification required TB screening (Provided if needed).Active driver’s license in the event transportation is taking place ( as applicable)Excellent communication skillsProficiency in the English language requiredTechnological proficiency including mobile devices for documentationMust be at least 18 years of ageMaxim Benefits:
