Spurwink's program providing support to adults with intellectual disabilities has a unique position (2) it is hiring for: live-in Therapeutic Couple. The live-in couple will do DSP work in a home in Limerick, providing support to 3 men with intellectual disabilities. As a live-in couple you will have regularly scheduled time-off, which can include weekends. You are provided with a private living space, within the home. This is a great opportunity for the right couple interested in helping others and single individuals will also be considered. In addition to providing a private living space all utilities, groceries, and rent are paid for. The use of a company vehicle including gas during work time is available.
Annual combined salary for a couple is approximately $196,000 and individually can make up to $98,000.

DUTIES:
Perform duties of a DSP, direct support professional, which include: assisting with activities of daily living; assisting with personal care; assisting with medical management; becoming a CRMA and passing medication; maintaining the home/ residence of the clients; assisting with meal management; managing house credit card and maintaining agency assigned vehicle; being part of a person-centered planning team and implementing personal plans.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
