Job Purpose/Summary:

This position is responsible for intermediate operative general labor such as operating machinery, heavy lifting and maintaining production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

The WCS Box Loader/Forklift operator is responsible for loading palletized loads into trailers according to patterns, keeping count on a stacker sheet, driving a forklift, lifting manual dock plates, manually stack boxes off stack off lines, changing LP tanks on the forklift, fixing box jams, changing stretch wrap on lantech, locking out alvey palletizers, operate industrial truck (P.I.T) The team member is required to first perform the 6 mandatory stretches before work and after each break. The team member will then proceed to the loading dock and inspect the area for moving debris, water/ice on the floor, forklift traffic and safety guards missing on any equipment. The team member will then check the pull light system then enter the trailer and move the expand to the door that will be loading. Next, the team member will lower the hinge conveyor and extend boom into trailer. The team member will then lift off box from the expand handles and place into trailer according to loading pattern. The team member will then operate a forklift on palletized loads and track accurate count on a stacker sheet.

C Shift 10:45pm to 7:15am

This facility can run 6 day a week, Monday-Saturday.

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Must be willing and able to lift between 5 to 120 Lbs.Must be willing and able to push/pull motionTeam member will be required to reach a distance 0 to 24 inchesTeam member will use full hand grasping throughout the shift.team member will use moderate to medium force.The team member is required to sit, stand, walk and climb throughout the shift.The team member will work in area that could range between 60-90 Degrees.Team member will occasionally back flexion 0-40 degrees

 Requirements

Must have one month of experience operating heavy machinery.

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.

Rehire Rule of no more than  3 times worked at Tyson Foods

Rehires can only go to B shift please pull the req down
