The Director, Account Lead oversees day-to-day engagement with their client(s) and is accountable for all deliverables across the Rise team. As the main point of contact for the client, they will direct the team on all strategic, executional, and analytical work. The person is responsible for ensuring Rise delivers on all agreed-upon work, strives for overall client delight, and identifies new opportunities to grow client revenue. They will report to the VP, Client Partner and will collaborate closely with other discipline leads, including Strategy, Activation, Project Management, and Analytics, as well as other Quad and partner agency teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead all engagement with client(s), ultimately responsible for all SOW deliverables across RiseAct as the primary point of contact for key clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through ongoing communicationDemonstrate understanding of client’s business and strategies, using insights to inform workActs a thought leader, bringing innovation and creative ideas to clientBrief, guide, and collaborate with all internal teams on client deliverables, including media plans/buys, reporting, business reviews, etc.Oversee the execution of plans and projects, ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget.Accountable for managing and tracking client budgets and reconciling agency feesResponsible for SOW renewalsOwns all client touch points, incl presentations, status meetings, etc.Owns all internal reporting needs (client pulse, etc)Leads and coaches any junior account enablement team membersAct as key constituent in annual financial planning and client forecastingRepresents Rise’s and Quad’s broader suite of solutions in client conversations, identifying new opportunities for growthMonitor account profitability and ensure accurate billing and forecasting to ensure the financial health of the accountsActively participate in business development process to secure new clientsCollaborate with partner agencies where neededJOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Experience:
7+ years of client management experience – preferably online advertising, direct marketing, or e-commerce industries on agency and/or client sideAt least 2-3+ years of demonstrated success in managing, motivating and leading an account team in the media industryKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong understanding of how to leverage media capabilities (strategy, data and insights and channel experts) to bring innovative solutions to clients. Must be able to develop relationships and influence clients, team members, and partnersMust be detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environmentSuperior oral, written and interpersonal communication and presentation skillsAbility to understand complex ideas/problems and articulate to clientsDemonstrated budget management and resource planning experienceSelf -motivated team player who consistently strives to succeedHigh competency level in PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel and OutlookCandidate must be open to travel as neededEmployees can be expected to be paid an annualized salary range of $117,300-$140,000, based on variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions.
