The Director, Account Management will be responsible for protecting and solidifying client relationships while building a sales pipeline that deepens the Broadridge wallet. You will retain your assigned accounts and existing revenue streams, meet or exceed sales targets, and develop and execute on account plans.
The candidate must have experience managing relationships in the financial services industry and should have experience in both revenue protection and revenue generation. In addition, the candidate must be able to thrive in a changing, highly complex, fast-paced environment.
We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.
Responsibilities:
Maintain client satisfaction - through measurement and actionResponsible for Account/Revenue Retention and Sales Origination through introduction of value-added productsParticipate in all aspects of client life cycle – needs assessment, presentation of solutions, negotiations, retention/renewals and client experience/satisfactionFocus on client needs, priorities, and objectives as part of overall account planning to help originate new sales opportunities with existing accountsRenewals–Track existing service relationships, develop and execute on retention plans throughout the contract term, engage clients on upcoming contract renewals – manage engagement through to executionIntroduce value adding services addressing client issues/pain-points/service requestsOn-site presence at Client site – to help develop and deepen relationships and expand relationships to new areas at the client (i.e. Procurement, Compliance, Marketing, WM/PCM Execs, Product, etc.)Maintains constant awareness of current and planned development of products. Remain current on industry topics and issues.Qualifications:
8+ years related sales or account management experience with at least 5 in the financial services industryBachelor's degree in related field required; MBA preferredProven track record of sales results and growthAbility to establish good personal and working relationship with clients and colleaguesDeep understanding of financial industryExcellent presentation, interpersonal, and written communication skillsAble to work in a dynamic environmentProactive/self-starter with strong follow through skillsWillingness to travel at least 30% of the yearSalary range $130,000.00 - $140,000.00. Bonus Eligible.
