Job Description:
Join CoreLogic in this key role reporting to the Vice President of Operations Accounting. As Director of Accounts Receivable, you will be responsible for oversight and active management of our shared services Accounts Receivable (“AR”) functions to ensure the timely collection and accurate accounting for the remittance of ~$2 billion in annualized invoices. The AR team, based in Irvine California (supplemented by offshore BPO support), collaborates closely with our Billing, General Accounting, Revenue Recognition, Finance, Sales, and Customer Service teams to ensure:
excellent external and internal customer experience,
proper and timely recording of transactions,
adherence to our policies/procedures and internal control framework, and
timely and reliable information to management and in support of financial audits
The Director position also has responsibility for the evaluation of processes and technology to support continuous improvement efforts and operational excellence within the AR domain.

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years of AR (collections and cash application) management and related accounting experience. CPA is a plus.
Experience in managing a portfolio of services/products and diverse customer contracts in a matrixed organization. Experience within the Financial/FinTech or Information Services sectors is preferred.
Demonstrated success in improving time-to-collect using relevant KPI’s/metrics.
Excellent organizational skills, and an established track record of process simplification, standardization, and automation; Lean Six Sigma training is a plus.
Experience analyzing and communicating insights related to billings, credit memos and cash applications to peers and clientele, in context of underlying contract terms.
Experience with the design, implementation, and maintenance of a strong system of internal controls in an automated environment.
Experience in managing AR related audit processes, such as confirmations.
Experience preparing, reviewing, and presenting financial reports and analyses; strong analytical skills to organize and synthesize data for informed decision-making.
Ability to manage concurrent tasks and objectives by demonstrating an ability to meet deadlines.
Minimum of 5 years prior experience managing teams and leading initiatives in a high-performance environment. Prior experience managing offshore or outsourced resources preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence people using interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to effectively communicate with clientele and company personnel at all levels.
Superior critical thinking skills, including the ability to identify trends in raw data.
Excellent project management skills; experience leading cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations.
Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with data analytics / BI tools (such as Alteryx) is a plus.
Strong ERP system experience with Oracle and/or other Tier 1 systems.
Ability and willingness to travel as needed; estimated at up to 5%.

Annual Pay Range:
