Position Summary
Participate in the development of strategic plans for WPH, and work on regional and Montefiore health system planning initiatives. Work may include participating the development of service line strategies for the health system. Work with the VP, Administration on annual Board Retreat for WPH. Assist with as needed market analyses, business plans, and project management. As needed work with hospital leadership on implementation of identified strategies and plans. Candidate will be expected to be able to effectively communicate and lead meetings with representatives from other hospitals within the health system.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Includes the Following:
Understands and adheres to the WPH Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors. Complete as needed market analyses of identified regions and services Participate in the development of service line strategic planning documents Develop business plans for identified strategic initiatives Provide project management to strategic and special projects Work with WPH VP Administration to assist other MHS hospitals on growth related initiatives Perform as needed ad hoc analyses Develop as need financially analyses Assist with development of WPH annual board retreat Assist with preparing for and leading Hudson valley collaboration meetings Work collaboratively with other WPH departments including, finance, facilities, physician practice, IT, Innovation, clinical informatics, and other departments as required Performs all other related duties as assignedEducation & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required
Masters strongly preferred
4 to 10 years’ experience

May be exposed to chemicals necessary to perform required tasks. Any hazardous chemicals the employee may be exposed to are listed in the hospital’s SDS (Safety Data Sheet) data base and may be accessed through the hospital’s Intranet site (Employee Tools/SDS Access). A copy of the SDS data base can also be found at the hospital switchboard, saved on a disc.
Demonstrates ability to analyze multidimensional problems into component parts and sort out tasks in priority order to solve the problem.
Ability to remain in stationary position 90% of time
Must be able to work in environment with continuous interruptions
