We are looking for an experienced Director of Advanced Engineering to join their thriving team.
***This role is to be positioned in Dallas Fort Worth area. Relocation expenses will be covered as necessary.
Position Objectives:
New Product Introduction Success - Achievement of all New Product Introduction (NPI) key milestones and achievement of budget. Customer Satisfaction & Feedback - Minimum 90% Customer Satisfaction through NPI stage. Team Performance & Development - 95% Retention rate of key engineering talent. Hire / tool the team so that we have a core competence in the department and can deliver the scalability of the business. Best Practices/Best Process - Within 6 months implement Best Practice/Best Process that ensures repeatable and efficient NPI excellence. Results must be achieved in full compliance with the Culture Manifesto and company Vision.
About You/Competencies:
Education: Engineering. Experience: 10+ years in electric motor manufacturing environment > designing, developing, and launching a variety of motor types into production. Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire both remote and in-house teams, fostering collaboration and high performance across multiple projects. A clear track record in mentoring and developing engineering talent, ensuring alignment and motivation to achieve organizational goals. A history of hiring great people and scaling a team to hit growth targets. Customer Focus & Relationship Management: Consistently places customer satisfaction at the forefront of their decision-making. Maintains strong relationships with customers, ensuring that product and process development and engineering solutions align with customer needs and expectations. Customer feedback is constantly measured to score their satisfaction level continuously through the NPI process. Execution Excellence: Past high performance in managing large-scale projects – on time, on budget, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, within quality and within budget. A natural disposition of a results-oriented approach to project management, demonstrating the ability to effectively prioritize, solve problems, and drive successful outcomes. Data-Driven Decision Making: All these competencies will have a strong foundation of data. Data to track key performance indicators, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement.
