Director, Advanced TV Partnerships - Spectrum Reach

The Director, Advanced TV Sales will lead Spectrum Reach’s national sales strategy and messaging and be responsible for growing the partnership across an assigned agency HoldCo. They will be focused as being the marketplace brand ambassador/evangelist for Spectrum Reach and our advertising capabilities. In this role, the Director will focus on meeting and various client touch points with a focus on understating the agency’s needs and how we can provide advertising capabilities that use our various cutting-edge solutions for clients to maximize the use of the variety of media with Spectrum. Will working closely with leadership to execute meetings and coordinate introductions for Spectrum and Ampersand Sellers.


Major Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Accelerate National Sales revenue, achieving personal and team targets.Oversee the financial performance of the national direct sales team, including revenue and T&E expenses.Build and execute sales strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth and ensure success in achieving the company’s and our client’s business objectives.Develop a high-energy sales culture that fosters success, enthusiasm, and a winning atmosphere.Provides employees with business knowledge and context.Recruit, select, develop, and retain talent to succeed in a fast- paced marketplace.Direct the entire sales team while setting achievable, but “stretch” expectations, with responsibility for resource allocation, including budget, training, and personnel.Guide the work efforts and management of sales managers/individual contributors; responsibility includes combined performance of the team as well as the individual performance of team members.Partner with internal peers and associated cross functional teams to innovate and scale solution enhancements required to accelerate revenue.Maintain effective communications with peers across the organization to ensure Sales Plan is executed and/or modified as needed and that revenues goals are achieved.Remove barriers to team performance by leveraging appropriate information, relationships, and resources.Seek opportunities that will produce substantial, long-term improvements.Proactively build talent and fill existing capability gaps.Builds informal feedback mechanisms (beyond objective metrics) to monitor team’s performance and drive improvement.

Qualification & Experience:

3+ years of leadership experience with proven track record of leading media sales teams to increasing levels of performance.5+ years national sales experience with proven track record of building customer partnerships and achieving sales budgets.Prior sales leadership experience in a revenue impacting capacity within addressable and programmatic CTV.Track record of success navigating complex sales solutions and cultivating agencies & national client relationships.Previous experience building, managing, and growing team revenue pipeline of PMP and PG deals with programmatic agencies, trading desks, and marketplaces.Skilled in sales strategy, sales planning, and revenue forecasting.Passionate about the convergence of entertainment, technology, and data that is fueling new opportunities for Spectrum Reach and our customers.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence while building strong relationships at all levels both externally and internally.Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to quickly scale progress in a complex business landscape.Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

The base pay for this position generally is between $154,200.00 and $175,000.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
