It’s part of Aegon, an integrated, diversified, international financial services group serving approximately 23.9 million customers worldwide. * For more information, visit transamerica.com .  Job Description Summary The Director of Advice Center Sales is responsible for the execution of strategic plans as a premier provider of financial services, including retail individual retirement accounts, asset consolidation into retirement plans, and life insurance sales to affiliates and direct-to-consumer. Develop management teams to provide superior service to internal and external customers through strategic service goals. Job Description Responsibilities + Coach and develop sales managers through regular individual and team interactions with a focus on leadership tools and principles to successfully meet sales goals. + Continually review and refine sales model (franchise) to assure the relevance of customer facing solutions and to expand (or contract) offerings as the markets dictate. + Work productively and proactively with Transamerica partners to ensure implementation of Advice Center sales initiatives, product and service offering distribution, and new business development. + Serve as a strategic thought leader and contributor to strategic direction for the business. + Hire, train, and develop staff. + Develop and communicate business unit goals to meet strategic objectives. + Establish measures for sales and team productivity to improve business unit net revenue. + Analyze, plan, and ensure implementation of product design and procedural changes in response to the product marketplace, regulatory environment, and staff fluctuations. + Manage compliance oversight of business operations. Help design, implement, and maintain processes to ensure business operations align with regulatory guidelines. + Identify ways to improve effectiveness and process efficiencies; initiate problem avoidance measures and remove barriers to providing quality sales and service. + Manage and troubleshoot customer expectations when there are escalated issues. Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience + Eight years of sales and sales management experience in the investment industry + FINRA Series 6, 63, 65/66, and 26 or higher (required to be approved to do business in all states) + Life insurance license + Leadership skills to develop and achieve sales goals and be a “change leader” + Excellent communication and presentation skills + Analytical, problem-solving skills, and decision-making skills + Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and meet related deadlines Preferred Qualifications + MBA + CRPC, CFP, CLU, ChFC, or other professional designation Working Conditions + Office or hybrid office/remote environment + Moderate travel Compensation **Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to applicable pay transparency and compensation posting laws. It is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.** The Salary for this position generally ranges between $135,000 - $160,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law. Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus of 17.5% based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company discretion.
