POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Director, Aftermarket Service reports to the Senior Vice President, Aftermarket Service and will be responsible for all Field operations for TAS including Sales, Annual Maintenance Contracts, Project Installation, Project Commissioning, Training and TAS Equipment Warranty. This position has the added responsibility of working with the Sales Department to pursue Industrial HVAC and Turbine Inlet Cooling Opportunities as directed by TAS Senior Management.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, train and manage the Service Project Managers and the Field Service teamDevelop, train and manage the Service Coordinators and Parts Sales teamOversee site schedule development, Field Engineer mobilizations and customer trainingMaintain a 3–5-year strategic market outlook related to Service Sales and Industrial/TIC opportunities identifying specific industry trends, technologies and competitive analysis to inform TAS’s ManagementWork with Sales Department to update opportunities as described above and participate in weekly Sales meetingsProvide review and commentary for TAS Website Aftermarket Services content and work with Marketing to update as requiredRecommend and implement approved marketing initiatives & annual conferences for TAS Aftermarket Service participationWork closely with Application Engineers on responding to approved opportunities and support proposal development requirements for all Industrial Sales and Aftermarket Services scopeOrganize and manage all field service content in weekly department staff meetingsAssist in the development of tools and internal training for Aftermarket Service DepartmentAssist in the development and maintenance of Lessons Learned feedback process from Aftermarket Service to applicable TAS departmentsBuild relationships with Peers from interfacing departments and participate in all Director level meetingsWork with SVP, Aftermarket Services to establish department direction and provide content and reporting to upper managementAny additional duties as assigned by TAS.

EDUCATION & TRAINING
Understanding and certification in project/program managementBachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration from an accredited four-year program or equivalent military service and training.Minimum of 10 years of Sales and Business Development Experience in Industrial and Service Industries

10 years of experience in Service and Construction industries 10 years of modular construction experience5 years sales and marketing management experience Proven track record of collaborating with technical organizations and joint proposal development Ability to travel domestically on short noticeHigh energy, driven individual that communicates and interacts well in a team environmentResults oriented individual with good verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills

Position is at least ~50% at a desk working with computer and ~50% travel developing potential customer relationships and/or coordinating TAS project site teams and customer contractors. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Performs other physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing and performing repetitive motions. Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal and conduct extensive reading. The incumbent will be subject to inside environmental conditions and outdoor construction site environmental conditions.
