Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us . **Position Summary:** BI&T CORE Services provides critical IT services to the entire BMS Enterprise, including Cybersecurity, Access, Networking, Hosting, Support Services, Tech Adoption and Productivity services to name a few. This role is for the lead of the Application Management and Solutions team within BI&T CORE Services. The Application Management and Solutions team is a team of BMS employees along with approximately 70+ managed service provider resources delivered through HCL, Cognizant and Accenture. The team is an integral part of the complete portfolio lifecycle of hosting and application management within the cloud and on prem. The responsibility extends from creation to retirement. **Key Responsibilities:** + Oversee a team that works with application teams and owners to understand requirements and create appropriate hosting solutions in concert with HCL, Cognizant and Accenture." Solutions require a global perspective and often enable a 24 x 7 x 365 operation. + Lead team that provides architectural design for delivery of applications within the cloud focusing on DevOps and Full Stack support. Scale up the optimization and management capabilities for cloud hosted applications as full stack deployments increase. + Help drive BMS Hosting Strategy, including tech debt management, application rationalization, and application refactoring to the Cloud. + Manage the Full Stack Engineering team of onshore and offshore employees responsible for the creation, delivery, and upkeep of a portfolio of cloud-based applications. + Direct a global team of contractors that provide application and middleware platform support." Provide direction and prioritization for the team and review progress." + Work with the HCL Service Delivery Manager to plan resourcing of the approximately 50-member software engineering team at HCL and corresponding BMS budget. + Manage financial budgets of $5M+ operating expenses and directly provides services related to a multitude of global projects. + Oversee financials for team including budget planning, tracking and the review and approval of consumption and invoices from HCL, Cognizant and Accenture. + Lead team to develop direction roadmaps for key shared hosting environments including Weblogic, WebSphere, .net, SharePoint and others. + Provide input to the hosting aspects of the Project and Portfolio Management and Run Demand initiatives." Review team's hosting estimates and answer client questions around hosting cost estimates. + Adjust the infrastructure hosting estimation template on an annual basis." " Work with finance to correlate project spend to project allocations. " + Collaborate on a regular basis with cross functional, pertinent stakeholders, colleagues, and multiple teams to ensure alignment and roadmap operations, project outcomes and Cybersecurity remediation. + Provide guidance and direction for the virtual team across multiple organizations regarding the processes of application modernization and transformation to DevOps, hosting architecture, solutioning, implementation and support. + License management and renewals for software and platform products. + Serve as escalation point for project issues and operational incidents (on a 24 x 7 x 365 calendar). + Serve on steering and working committees for key projects and larger initiatives. **Qualifications & Experience:** + 15+ years' experience and demonstrated success in managing technical teams delivering complex programs on a global basis. + Experience in delivering PaaS/SaaS based cloud platform initiatives. + Experience in implementing applications and running application Management within cloud service providers (AWS preferred). + Demonstrated strength in partnering with internal/external contacts and partners. + Ability to succeed in a matrixed environment and to influence adoption of new thinking/technology and to solve problems/create deliverables. + Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; effective manager of people and strong team-building skills + Able to manage and track budgets exceeding $5M. + Familiarity with the support of web middleware technologies and application platform management. + Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into action. + Strong learning agility. + Creative thinking balanced with a pragmatic approach. + Exhibit a positive work approach, with high productivity and a collaborative spirit. + Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and attention to detail. + Ability to analyze and solve complex problems with good judgement, often using creative solutions. + Experienced in working with managed service providers. + Knowledge of work outside own function and broad exposure in Digital and IT. + Ability to apply technical solutions to business processes.
