Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Director, Banker for its New York, New York location.
Duties: Build client relationships by providing sophisticated financial solutions tailored to the clients’ needs and by acting as a content provider on market trends based on quantitative analysis. Provide strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, Equity, and Debt financial transactions, including analysis of global financial markets and platforms and technologies for transaction execution. Assist clients in raising funds in capital markets, applying understanding of the global investor community. Maximize opportunity set of revenue generation using valuation methodologies including discounted cash flow, comparative and pro forma analysis. Ensure proposed client solutions meet or exceed internal risk and return standards, including stringent ethical standards. Identify and anticipate all types of risks, such as industry, portfolio, diversification, sovereign, commercial, and currency, among others, including those specific to the global business services sector including in Testing, Inspection, Certification, Facility Management, Professional Services. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering (any) or related field and 6 years of experience as a Banker, Director, VP, Sr. Associate, Associate, or related position involving Investment Banking including M&A and Capital Markets transactions. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 8 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 6 years of experience must include: M&A, Equity and Debt transaction execution; Quantitative analysis; Analysis of global financial markets; Valuation methodologies including discounted cash flow, comparative and pro forma analysis; Applying understanding of the global investor community; and Platforms and technologies for transaction execution. At least 3 years must include global business services sector including in Testing, Inspection, Certification, Facility Management, and Professional Services.
