Director, Brand Strategy and Consumer Insights

Reporting into the CMO this role will lead the creative, brand strategy, and integrated marketing. This includes leveraging consumer insight and product development skills, extensive supplier network, and internal cross-functional resources to successfully develop/source new products. This is a key role that works cross functionally to help guide the Product Execution Team and participates on the Promotions Integration Group in the coordination and communication of any/all new product initiatives. Note: We have a hybrid work schedule, with three days in the office and two days working from home. **WHAT THIS ROLE DOES** + Serves in leadership role regarding any brand initiatives across the organization. + Leads the development and execution of the company's brand and creative strategies across each line of business; ensures all stakeholders are part of the planning process. + Colead brand evolution, including strategy, positioning, hierarchies, visual identity, voice, and develops avenues to expand into new territories (e.g., iconography, photography, naming approach) and socialize to internal and external audiences. + Manages and evolves the creative calendar in conjunction with the product calendar to ensure the process is rooted in sound consumer insights and supports our overall business and strategy + Construct, test and launch marketing plans in conjunction with the lines of business and marketing + Drives integrated marketing and campaign activity, inclusive of creative strategy, multi-channel content development, production, launch and measurement. Provides creative input across digital/owned channels. + Spearhead company's PR initiatives to maximize earned media and increase brand's cultural relevance during key holiday and everyday timeframes. + Manage ongoing measurement and refinement of campaigns. + Builds and manages budgets for production, consumer research, and agency partnerships + Leads marketing strategy development for company's most critical initiatives, including new occasions and larger activations to grow HBH into a leading everyday brand + Leads marketing and branding research (supported by Insights Team), including annual Brand Tracker, in-depth Brand Equity Study and Holiday Consumer Research initiatives. + Serves as Agency Management lead to bring all agencies together to collaborate across critical initiatives. + Creates new processes to optimize marketing organization: IAT model, marketing and creative brief development, promotional calendar, campaign reporting structure. + Ability to lead cross-functional teams to rally around a common vision and deliver results to move the brand forward. **YOUR TRACK RECORD** Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent work experience.Master's degree a plus.10+ years' experience in as a brand manager/director within CPG, restaurant, hospitality or retail industries.Experience developed robust marketing plans across brands and/or business units in a matrixed organization.Experience, solid understanding of consumer trends and turning them into actionable insights and strategies.Ability to manage multiple projects with internal and external groups. **WHAT ELSE TO KNOW?** Minimal travel required - less than 10% **WHAT WE OFFER** Competitive salary and benefits plan, including a matched 401(k) and a culture where doing the right thing is the only thing to do...and where you can have fun (Really.
