As the Director, Business Consulting (DBC), you will have senior responsibility for leading the entire life cycle of sales and delivery for a portfolio of consulting projects for the Business and Strategic Consulting (BSIC) practice of our National Security and Justice (NSJ) business unit.
· Lead project delivery: You will ensure successful delivery of BSIC projects across the NSJ business unit, working closely with sector leads. You will be responsible for managing existing projects and play a key role in developing and executing client development plans to grow BSIC work across these three sectors.
· Drive the sales cycle: You will oversee strategic planning, management, and direction of bid and proposal (B&P) resources. This includes target identification, capture strategies, proposal development, contract award, and customer relationship management. You will collaborate with BSIC counterparts across our Federal Strategic Business Unit to ensure that best-in-class solutions are brought to clients and that CGI is well-positioned within NSJ agencies.
· Lead and mentor a team: You will provide leadership and mentorship to a team of approximately 12 consultants, fostering their professional growth and development.

As the Director, Business Consulting you be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients while developing business with new clients. Also, to ensure a high quality of services delivered to assigned clients you will participate in the delivery of client engagements and lead and manage delivery teams to achieve client satisfaction and targeted revenue and profitability.
• Own the client experience from proposal to delivery, ensuring successful project execution and high client satisfaction.
• Develop and execute a strategic client growth plan to secure new business and expand existing accounts within the portfolio.
• Lead proposals and evolve solution offerings to ensure CGI delivers best-in-class solutions to clients.
• Lead and mentor a team of approximately 12 consultants, fostering their professional growth and development while managing project delivery through both onshore resources and vendor partners.
• Manage client satisfaction in partnership with account management teams, applying best practices in delivery and customer management.
• Apply proven management practices, including succession planning, performance reviews, financial management, and contributing to business strategy and budget planning.
• Ensure the profitability of client engagements.
• Results-oriented business leader with a solid understanding of budgets, forecasting, planning, P&L's, and strategic pricing models.
• 10+ years of experience in consulting services.
• Proven track record of business development and client relationship management, from ground-level project teams up to C-level executives. In the areas of business and strategic consulting (e.g., CFO advisory, CIO Advisory, AI Advisory, OCM) is preferred.
• Experience with delivery or business development within Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Justice, The Federal Judiciary or Legislative branch agencies (preferred).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor a team.
• Strong decision making, judgment, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional hybrid teams.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $122,200.00 - $264,600.00.
