What You'll Contribute

The Director of Business Development will join our Education Services team and grow the partnerships and sales pipeline for multiple products, with these immediate areas of focus:

Advertising partners that seek to get in front of the student market

Colleges who seek to grow their enrollment pipelines

What You'll Do

As Education Services launches more products, the director of business development will support go-to-market strategies and grow the team to adequately support new and existing scaling of product. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and potential clients, building and maintaining relationships with key partners, and driving revenue growth. They will design and deploy engagement strategies for the Education Services products and services to new clients. Leveraging our data analytics, they will make informed business development decision and present their analysis to the executive teams. They are responsible for self-generating leads through prospecting strategies, , sales database management (CRM) and networking (their existing network and establishing new connections), tradeshows, conferences and other industry business networking opportunities.

What You Have

Minimum education, skills and experience required.

7-10 years Business Development and Advertising solutions experience

Experience in the Higher Education or Fintech industry

Proficient in the advertising and data space with an understanding of their respective ecosystems and vendor/solution landscape

Proven portfolio of business transformation through engagement strategies

Business Analysis expertise: data is the lifeblood of our decision making- there is no substitute for it.

A bias towards action, and a passion for breaking barriers and thinking of new ways to adapt, help, and create better experiences for students.

Know the business: an expert in large and complex deals, offering enhanced sales experience due to their specialization; they also are an expert in our sales process and product offering, and are accountable for forecasting monthly sales.

Do more with less: Self-starter who is responsible for achieving assigned monthly and annual sales quota. We are operating as a start-up. We embrace the constraints of budget and resources and always find ways to deliver.

Execute with quality: Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, customer needs, and market dynamics.
