What is the opportunity?
In this role you will be responsible for establishing a cash network management function within RBC Capital Markets Global Transaction Banking (GTB) team. This new function will be responsible for ensuring that RBC has an optimized network of cash correspondent banks globally to support all lines of
business.
We are looking for a results-oriented individual with strong business acumen. To succeed, you will need to develop strong internal and external relationships, be attuned with the constantly changing payments landscape and have the ability to prioritize highest impact requests.
What will you do?
Support lines of business across RBC Canada to ensure the needs of our clients related to crossborder payments are met.Stay current on industry trends, including new products and services that RBC can takeadvantage of or can replicate in its home market.Recommend agent banks in markets where RBC requires correspondent banking services.Ensure RBC receives a high quality, competitively priced service from its correspondent bankingproviders.Responsible for ensuring that RBC only maintains SWIFT Relationships when there is a businessrationale.Ensure all correspondent bank appointments are consistent with RBC’s policies includingregulatory and compliance requirements.Develop a network management policy that governs the function.What do you need to succeed?
