Make It With Pride.** The Director of Category Leadership will lead a team to develop a Snacking Growth Vision and category growth strategies that drive sustainable growth for the categories in which Mondelez operates (Biscuit, Bars, Candy, Cakes & Pastries, Seasonal, & Cough) grounded in shopper metrics and insight. This role is a primary strategic thought leader in defining customer facing growth strategies and a partner to our internal Sales and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication and leadership skills to influence both internal and external stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** + Strategy Development: Develop data-based insights and strategies that will grow Snacking and Mondelez categories (Biscuit, Bars, Candy, Cakes & Pastries, Seasonal, & Cough) in the US market. + Market Analysis & Foresight: Conduct comprehensive omnichannel market analysis by category to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights as needed; leveraging consumption & shopper data analytics to provide actionable insights. Model future category growth opportunity vs shopper metrics and identify 6P category growth solutions to unlock. + Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Insights, CatMan, relevant 3rd parties and broader Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure cohesive creation of 6P category growth strategies grounded in shopper insights. + Senior Stakeholder Management: Act as the key thought partner to senior stakeholders within Mondelez and as primary partner to the Category Management team. + Storytelling: create compelling category growth stories, with clear data-based reasons to believe, to engage customers at all levels from the c-suite to buyer. + Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing category leadership team; foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement across Category Management & Insights. + Performance Monitoring: Partner with Insights and relevant 3rd parties to ensure we have the right tools to track category performance vs category growth strategies. **What extra ingredients you will bring:** + Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics etc.). MBA preferred. + Minimum of 5 years of experience in category management within the CPG industry across retail channels. Solid understanding of the retail marketplace. Omnichannel experience preferred. + 3+ years in a managerial role or with experience leading teams. + Proven track record of strategy development that delivers category growth and business results. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. + Excellent communication, interpersonal and storytelling skills with a strong executive presence. + Track record of influencing cross-functional teams and external partners. Leadership experience with a passion for developing talent and building effective teams. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $136,200 – 238,350 ; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
