**Job Description** **Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?** **Position Overview:** The Director of Category Management will lead a team to develop and influence category growth strategies at that drive sustainable growth for the categories in which Mondelez operates (Biscuit, Bars, Candy, Cough, Seasonal) within a key set of retailers. This role is a primary strategic thought partner to both our retailer partners and Mondelez sales teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication and leadership skills to influence both internal and external stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Strategy Development:** Develop data-based insights and strategies to grow Mondelez categories (Biscuit, Bars, Candy, Cough, Seasonal) within set of retailers. + **Customer Engagement:** Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners to drive business impact (both long term and short term). Leverage data and analytics to pursue category captaincies and drive the end-to-end conversations with the retailer that influence growth across the omni shopper path to purchase. + **Market Analysis:** Conduct comprehensive omnichannel market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights as needed; leverage data analytics to provide actionable insights. Own and deliver reporting for Mondelez sales partners. + **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Partner with Sales, Category Leadership, Planning, RGM, and Marketing teams to ensure cohesive execution of category plans and alignment with business goals. + **Senior Stakeholder Management** : Act as key thought partner to senior stakeholders within Mondelez and externally. Act as primary partner to Sales team. + **Team Leadership:** Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing category management team; foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement. Total team size of 8-10. + **Performance Monitoring:** Proactively measure both Category and Mondelez performance and KPIs and metrics to measure category performance; provide regular reports and insights to senior management. **What extra ingredients you will bring:** + Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics etc.). MBA preferred. + Minimum of 7 years of experience in category management within the CPG industry across retail channels. Solid understanding of the retail marketplace. Omnichannel experience preferred. + 3+ years in a managerial role or with experience leading teams. + Proven track record of business results, captaincies gained, shelf space gained that resulted in business and category growth. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and communication skills and strong executive presence. + Track record of influencing cross-functional teams and external partners. + Leadership experience with a passion for developing talent and building effective teams. For salaried roles based: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $136,,200 to $238,350; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
